Drawing, Drawing, Drawing

I have been neglecting the fine liners and rekindling my love for pencil drawing today.

Looking through my summer research photos of the sarracenias and foxgloves, i felt that my trusty fine liners just wouldn't do the dramatic shapes and curves of these plants any justice!

So I decided to pick up the B pencils and start creating tonal drawings. it has been a while! But i feel as though my hard work has paid off in creating exaggerated curves and dramatic tones.
