Fatal Flora
My Graduate Collection Fatal Flora is based on poisonous and carnivorous plants amidst elegant florals.
The subtle toned leaves intertwine with bold linear poisonous and carnivorous plants, conveying a sense of danger among the delicate.
These illustrations originate from visiting Glasnevin Botanical Gardens, Dublin.
The processes used throughout this collection are mainly pencil and fine line drawing which then translated onto Adobe Photoshop and traditional silk screen printing.
This collection was exhibited at New Designers, June 2017 as wallpaper repeats.
Elements of this collection was submitted to the i-dott Wallpaper competition, which later became short listed.
Jungle Curiosity
This collection was inspired by visits to Swansea’s Large public greenhouse called Plantasia, containing tropical plants and wild life.
This collection was created for a live competition brief What Lies Beneath, set by Jess & Jules Bespoke Furniture. To which came first place in the competition, giving an opportunity to licence the winning design with Jess & Jules.
