Thanks Plantasia!

Today I ventured into town to Plantasia, Plantasia is a large public greenhouse containing tropical plants and wildlife. This is by far my favourite place in Swansea! It never ceases to provide me with inspiration and fresh ideas for projects.

Realising my workspace in the studio was looking a little unloved, I decided to re-vamp it. Heading into Plantasia (and only paying £2.95!) I began my pursuit for inspiration. Spotting one of the gardeners, I decided to be very cheeky and ask if could have any off cuts of plants they may be throwing away. To my delight, the gardener was very helpful and made cuttings of any plant I fancied.

30 minutes later and one giant bin bag full of tropical plants, I made my way back to the Surface Pattern Studio to redecorate my desk. Below are some of the drawings I created from my now loved again space.
